If you want a sunscreen that’s a hydrator, this is amazing. This acts as a moisturizer and an SPF 50. It has soothing ingredients such as centella asiatica and mistletoe extract, and it also has moisturizing ingredients like sunflower oil and soybean lipids. If you’re someone who’s constantly dry, this gives the skin soothing ingredients, and it locks them in with the oils. This sunscreen is phenomenal for dry patches, and if you have dry skin, this sunscreen does not cake up on dry patches because it’s a water cream. It’s super hydrating, super moisturizing, and it does not leave a white cast.

This is a super lightweight liquid, and because it is so lightweight, it sinks into the skin magnificently. Even if you have very greasy skin, this absorbs so nicely. It gives a little bit of a dewy finish, but it doesn’t make you look overly saturated. If you have a deeper fitzpatrick type, please be aware that it can leave a bit of a whitecast. It also has a lot of plant extracts like black currant, pear extract, and fig which give a great antioxidant boost. For oily skin, you can use this as your moisturizer and sunscreen.
FRUDIA - Ultra UV Shield Sun Essence SPF50+ PA++++ - 50g - $9
If you like fragrance but have very sensitive skin, this sunscreen will not break you out.
ROVECTIN - Skin Essentials Aqua Soothing UV Protector SPF 50+ PA++++ - 50ml -
This is for very sensitive skin. It has zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, and cyclopentasiloxane instead of glycerin, capryllic triglyceride, or propanediol. Cyclopentasiloxane is odorless, and it has theadded benefit of acting as a protective barrier to the skin and protecting the skin from moisture loss.This formula has coconut oil so for some people with acne-prone skin, this might not be the perfect fit. If you’re someone whose sensitive to synthetic fragrance, this has no synthetic fragrance. However, it does have fruit extract specifically apple, tomato, and cranberry, but those are not very irritating, and they give an antioxidant boost. Also, Rovectin claims that this sunscreen is hypoallergenic.
CARE:NEL - No Sebum Perfect UV Shield SPF50+ PA++++ - 50ml -$13.99
If sunscreens normally break you out, this is one of the best K beauty products for break-out-prone skin. While this product does not treat acne, it has tea tree oil as part of its base which is antimicrobial and antibacterial. It’s got dimethicones and silicones. While silicones have been labeled as pore-clogging, many silicones are actually used in acne medications. They give products a lot of slip, and it's a non-greasy formula. This sunscreen is for all skin types, but it’s geared toward dry or oily acne-prone skin. In general, mineral sun shields are better for acne even though they’re more likely to flashback. For example, this one rubs in well, but It’s not completely sheer.
SKIN1004 - Madagascar Centella Air-Fit Suncream Plus SPF50+ PA++++ - 50ml -$17
The suncream is composed of centella asiatica from Madagascar. It contains ingredients like centella asiatica, licorice, and niacinamide that soothe redness and help with hyperpigmentation. Niacinamide stops the transfer of pigment from going to other skin cells, and if you struggle with redness post breakouts, this is amazing. Licorice has also been used to treat mild forms of hyperpigmentation
This sunscreen is slightly tinted, and it absorbs very well. That color neutralizes erythema well, but t’s not comparable to makeup. You could get away with using it as a foundation though. Additionally, you can use it for vascular dark, circles as well as pigment around the eye, and overall the SPF is a great preventive measure for fine lines and wrinkles.
Especially since the sunscreen filters are made from visible light shielding zinc and titanium, this formula is a great tool for anti-aging.
COSRX - Aloe Soothing Sun Cream - $16
A lot of people who wear makeup struggle with it balling up on top of a moisturizer. Sometimes moisturizers can cause make-up to look cakey. Fortunately, the COSrx aloe soothing cream acts as a quality moisturizer that can be worn under makeup. It’s formulated with aloe extract, butylene glycol, glycerin, sulfonic acid, silica, and titanium oxides that protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays while simultaneously hydrating skin. Even more amazingly, it has a nice slip, and it won't even cause the thickest of makeup to ball up.
Romand - Zero Sun Clean SPF50+ PA++++ - 50ml - 01 Fresh -$13.07
This sunscreen is super sheer, and it has a nice finishing touch. It dries down nicely under makeup, and it helps plump up and boost the skin. This is an oxide-based formula with natural extracts like olive oil extracts, clary, and deep ocean water.
SCINIC - Enjoy Super Active Airy Sun Stick SPF50+ PA++++ - 15g - $14.29
This sunscreen stick is amazing for exercise. Even if you put it under your eyes, it won’t get into them. It’s an SPF PA++++ so you don’t have to apply it every 50 to 90 minutes. It’s not a dry touch, it has a powdery finish, and there is no flashback. Additionally, this sunscreen stick has dimethicone and silica so it smooths onto the skin nicely. It’s also amazing for dark spots and pigmentation that happen from the sun.
Isntree - Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel - 50ml - $26,50
This formula works well for dry patches on acne-prone and oily skin. It’s very sheer, and it gives a glow. It doesn’t peel up, it doesn’t flashback, and it also has hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant, but sometimes it destroys sunscreen. Hyaluronic serums can pull moisture from the sunscreen and stop the sunscreen from creating a barrier or shield on the skin. So, they actually put the hyaluronic acid within the sunscreen. The hyaluronic acid gives it a dewy glow, and the gel doesn’t flashback back. This works for most skin types, but if you have oily skin, keep in mind that it's very hydrating. This is a great hydrating sunscreen for the winter especially since snow can reflect sunlight onto the face and cause sunburn.
PURITO - Daily Go-To Sunscreen - 60ml -$16.59
This is another great hydrating option for sensitive skin. Made with Madecassosideas an active ingredient, the formula has a great anti-redness & anti-scaling effect.
