6 of the Best K Beauty Lip Products You Didn't Know about

A lot of people, specifically Americans, don’t know how amazing K Beauty lip products are. We mostly hear about essences and toners which are also amazing. But, K Beauty has a lot of amazing lip products too. So, let's talk about some of the best lip products in Korea and who they’re good for.

Liplief Enrichment Lip Gel- $10.90

This is an enrichment lip gel, and Cassandra loves the applicator. It’s great, and she loves that it’s a lip gel instead of a lip balm.

What is a lip gel?

Imagine an essence for your lips. And during cold weather, lip gels are so helpful. During the dry winter, this was the only thing that truly healed Cassandra’s lips.

The Liplief gel doesn’t stick together, and it’s fragrance-free, color free, and dye-free. It has tea tree, jojoba, and lavender. So, it includes a bunch of antioxidants for the lips. This also includes bis-diglyceryl polyacyladipate-2, an emollient that can bind water to the skin.

There’s also glycerin, hydrogenated vegetable oil, sobitan olivate, and caprylic triglyceride. You’ll see several of these ingredients in moisturizers, but they also work well for the lips.

FRUDIA Mango Honey Sleep Lip Mask: $5 - $7.20

FRUDIA is an amazing K Beauty brand. It was one of the second or third K beauty brands that Cassandra ever tried, and she has always been obsessed with their essences. They are full of fragrance, but they are so fun. And if you’re someone who loves a sensorial experience, FRUDIA will be amazing. This is the Frudia Mango Honey Lip Mask, and it smells like a tropical vacation. This is so good, and the scent reminds Cassandra of Jeju Island.

Jeju Island is a beautiful, Korean island known for its aloe vera and oranges. This lip product has mango, and it smells and feels amazing without being overpowering. This does have a little bit of a yellow tinge, but it blends in so nicely on the lips.

Mixsoon Vegan Melting Lip Balm - $16

This lip balm comes in a stick form, and it feels ultra-hydrating, almost like a lip oil. That’s the best way Cassandra can describe it. This is a lip oil in stick form. This stuff goes on like a stick, but when you put it on, it melts down into a butter consistency.

However, it’s not a greasy or overwhelming butter. It just makes Cassandra’s lips very shiny, and they also have it in a colored version. She likes the dry rose color because it smells wonderful, but it still has basic ingredients.

This is perfect for “no makeup” makeup days, and it works very well. You don’t have to constantly reapply it either.

isoi Bulgarian Rose Lip Treatment Balm- $20

Cassandra doesn’t know a lot about this brand, but she does love this product. This is like a lip treatment balm, and it feels like a hydrating lipstick. It does work like a lip treatment, but if you have cuts on your lips or “angular chelitis,” it’s best to see a dermatologist or use basic Vaseline.

Overall, it’s very nourishing and beautiful. But, when you put it on, it looks like a lip stain.

Tocobo Vita Glazed Lip Mask: $15 - $20

Tocobo is like Korea’s version of Laniege. Cassandra thinks this is so good. This lip mask has pomegranate in it, and it also has olive oil. The texture is amazing, and it almost feels like the Mixsoon Bean Essence.

This goes onto your lips so smoothly, and it works as a night mask. Cassandra loves this because afterward, her lips look so plump. The main ingredient is hydrogenated polyisobutene which is what gives it that sleek mask texture. It also has jojoba oil which further nourishes the lips. And the best part is — it's inexpensive and effective.

Torriden Solid In Ceramide Lip Essence - $9.70

This is one of the best Korean beauty products that Cassandra has ever used. This is a ceramide lip essence. It feels like a healing Vaseline product, and it hydrates like your favorite moisturizer.

This doesn’t goop up or sting, and it’s probably going to give your lips the most shine out of all the lip products. However, unlike the Mixsoon one, this one won’t last through eating a meal. But, even if the shine doesn’t last all day, the hydration will.

If you put this on in the morning, you’ll have hydrated, smooth lips for the entire day. And in contrast to most products, you won’t have to reapply it or feel like your lips are in this cycle of dryness.

Cassandra normally gets this from Stylevana, Amazon, or YesStyle, and it’s very inexpensive.

Overall, Cassandra keeps The Mixsoon one in her purse, and she uses The FRUDIA one overnight. The Tocobo and Torriden lip products are her most common go-to lip products though.
